General Micro Systems recognizes that no two customer’s requirements are identical and that one generic system won’t meet everyone’s needs. Although many companies claim to provide custom solutions for their computers, General Micro Systems continuously puts our claim to action by tailor making every one of our systems, as we have been doing for over 37 years. GMS customizes our hardware and software to accommodate each individual customer’s needs, and in most cases will do so without non-recurring engineering (NRE) charges. From GMS’ engineering to manufacturing to sales, our infrastructure was originally designed and currently operates with adaptable custom solutions at our foundation.
We provide distinct part numbers and track each of them for our customers so no other customer can purchase their unique solution. This, in turn, protects the customer from unauthorized returns and prohibits others from buying that product. Customers can be assured that any product investments made with GMS will not fall into the hands of the competition, allowing that investment to be harvested for years to come.
Key issues in custom solutions include a risk in time to market. General Micro Systems mitigates these issues through our unique development approach; all of GMS’ designs are modularized to accept additional I/O and various configurations with ease.
